The simplest space nursery decor ideas start with one motif: a small solar system for a playful room, or a crescent and clouds for a quieter celestial look. Choose a felt mobile you like, repeat two or three of its colors elsewhere, and check which parts come with the option you select.
Choose an astronaut or moon motif
Use the Astronaut Felt Baby Mobile as the focal point if you want the room to feel like a little solar system. The listing shows a white-suited astronaut among felt planets, stars, clouds and moons. The planets supply the brighter colors, so a plain wall and one simple star print are enough to carry the theme. The listing offers Style 1 and Style 2; compare the photos for the style you are selecting before ordering.
If the room already has warm neutrals, the Moon Basket Bear Felt Baby Mobile offers a softer take. A teddy bear in a basket, a crescent and soft clouds suggest a night sky without a room full of planets. Try echoing the crescent in a small piece of wall art rather than introducing a second busy pattern.
Repeat a small set of colors
Pick a base, a supporting color and one accent. For the astronaut look, try warm ivory as the base, dusty blue in a print or curtain, and a small ochre detail that picks up a star. For the moon and bear look, start with oatmeal and soft white, then repeat the bear’s warm brown in a frame or an existing piece of furniture.
Look at the colors in the actual room before buying more decor. A blue wall that looks cool in daylight can feel different under a warm evening lamp. Put the swatches next to the furniture finish and use the one accent that still feels distinct in both lights. If the room already has patterned wallpaper, let the mobile be the only place where you combine several shapes and colors.
Check the selected mobile configuration
Both listings sell a finished felt decoration. The option you select determines whether a mobile, arm or music box is included. Check the configuration in the cart even if the main product photo shows several parts together.
| Option | What to expect | What to confirm |
|---|---|---|
| Mobile Only | The felt mobile | What hanging parts come with that option. |
| Mobile + Arm or Mobile + Music Box | The mobile plus the named accessory | Arm fit or music box details, as applicable. |
| Full Set | Mobile, arm and music box | Selected style and compatibility. |
| Music Box | Music box accessory only | Choose a mobile option if you want the felt design too. |
The Moon Basket Bear description mentions a round hoop, while a listing image shows crossed wooden rods. If the frame matters to you, confirm which one ships. For either design, ask for the dimensions and mounting instructions for your selection rather than estimating them from a photo. Both listings describe the mobile as decoration only and say to hang it securely out of a baby’s reach. Follow the product instructions and the guidance for any furniture or mounting hardware you use.

Coordinate gifts with the parents
For a celestial nursery gift, ask the parents which motif and palette they have chosen and whether they already own an arm or music box. If the gift is a surprise, use the registry to check for duplicates. Confirm any custom requests with the shop before checkout and check the delivery estimate for the destination if the gift is for a particular date.
Choose the Astronaut Felt Baby Mobile for a colorful planet theme or the Moon Basket Bear Felt Baby Mobile for warm neutrals and a crescent motif. Confirm the style and accessories before placing the order.
